Alliance
Our Purpose
Connect North Branch Trail (NBT) users to cultural, shopping and dining experiences
Our Mission
Create economic development for all communities along the NBT
North Branch Trail Alliance (NBTA) of Greater Chicago was founded in early 2017 as a response to the expansion of the North Branch Bike Trail. NBT starts at Foster Ave & Kostner Ave, Chicago and ends at the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe, IL.
Phase I of the expansion, from Edgebrook to Forest Glen, opened in 2016.
Phase II, from Forest Glen to North Mayfair, was completed in August 2017.
NBT now connects Chicago's neighborhoods and suburban villages, from North Mayfair, Forest Glen, Sauganash, and Edgebrook, through Niles, Morton Grove and Glenview, all the way to Glencoe, IL.
North Branch Trail Alliance is leading the effort to connect the trail users with the communities and businesses along the Trail.
